A Message from the HOD

Welcome to the Department of Institutional Management at Mathira Technical & Vocational College. With over 8 years of history, our department is one of the pillars of creativity and industry-readiness in the region.

We focus on imparting real-world competencies in fashion design, garment making, hairdressing, and beauty therapy. Our objective is to guide trainees through structured hands-on sessions so they can build successful enterprises, lead styling salons, or launch fashion design houses in Kenya and globally.

Departmental Overview

The Institutional Management department combines creative arts and services. We prepare trainees to meet national and international standards in fashion design, tailoring, hair artistry, and cosmetic beauty therapy.

Our Training Pillars

Fashion & Garment Making: Practice pattern drafting, fashion sketching, sewing, and boutique management.
Hair Dressing & Salon Care: Master chemical treatments, hair styling, cuts, and salon business setups.
Beauty Therapy: Learn skin care, make-up artistry, massage therapy, and client management.
Business Incubation: Integrated training in entrepreneurship to prepare graduates for self-employment.
