Industrial Liaisons Officer
Coordinating industrial attachments for students across all departments, ensuring each trainee gains at least 3 months of supervised workplace exposure.
Organizing monitoring and assessment visits for students on attachment, verifying quality standards and CBET competency progression with host industries.
Facilitating guest lectures, industry visits, and mentorship programs to expose trainees to professional workplace norms and technical innovations.
Conducting graduate tracer studies and gathering employer feedback to continuously improve curriculum relevance and skill alignment with labour market demands.
Supporting CBET implementation and work-based learning models, assisting departments to embed industry competency standards into curriculum delivery.
Promoting job placement and internship opportunities for graduates, and maintaining an active database of partner industries and available job openings.
Host for Electrical Engineering attachment students and power systems internships.
Partner for civil and building engineering trainees in site-based CBET competence assessment.
Enables digital skills partnerships, internship pipelines, and digital literacy certifications for ICT trainees.
Provides accredited garage and assembly plant placements for Automotive Engineering students.
Agribusiness attachment hosts for Institutional Management and entrepreneurship programs.
Strategic partner supporting skills development, bursary programs, and public-service attachments.
Oversees formal recognition of attachment hours and CBET modular credit accumulation.
Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority regulating MTVC program standards.
